Introduction:

Department of ophthalmology which started its OPD on 13 August 2018 is engaged in providing ophthalmic care of highest order to the population of central Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas.

Mission & Vision:

Our vision is to provide highest level of eye care services. The department is headed by Assistant Professor and assisted by Ophthalmic Technical Officer.

Major areas of thrust are patient care and research.

The department runs services like:

Cornea
Glaucoma
Uvea
Lens
- Contact lens
- Low vision aids
Retina and vitreous
Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus

Excellent patient care is the most important motive of the department.
